Variable Aperture and Pro Camera Controls
The variable-aperture Main camera can automatically or manually select between f/1.48, f/1.8, f/2.8, and f/4.0. Wider apertures can help capture more light and create a shallower depth of field, while narrower settings can keep more of a scene in focus.
Pro camera controls provide direct access to aperture, shutter speed, white balance, and histogram controls. The Camera app also supports a customizable default lens and Apple Reference Image for professional workflows.
18MP Center Stage Front Camera
The 18MP Center Stage front camera features autofocus with Focus Pixels, Center Stage for photos and video calls, ultra-stabilized video, Dual Capture, and professional recording controls. It supports 4K Dolby Vision video recording up to 60 fps.
Center Stage can automatically adjust framing for group selfies and compatible video calls, helping keep subjects in view without manually repositioning the phone.
